Job summary

Gundersen is seeking an Environmental Assistant for on-call duties to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment. Responsibilities include disinfecting, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping surfaces, fixtures and furnishings across facilities.

The role requires flexibility to cover weekday and weekend shifts, with a PM shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Starting base wage up to $18.15/hour, plus shift differentials of $0.75/hour for PM shifts and $1.50/hour on weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning and sanitation in healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings to maintain a clean environment.
• Ensure safe and sanitary conditions throughout all patient care areas.
• Work on an on-call basis with 8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Job Description: The Environmental Assistant is responsible for providing all cleaning services and indirect patient care. The Environmental Assistants are responsible to maintain all facilities in a neat, clean, safe, and sanitary environment by disinfecting. mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings.

What you will do:

• This is an on call position working 8 hour shifts.
• Shift Hours - 3:00PM to 11:30PM
• Flexible and looking for weekday and weekend coverage
• Maintain clean environment by disinfecting, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings.
