Job summary

Gundersen Health System is hiring a full-time Environmental Assistant (housekeeper) to keep the Whitehall Hospital and clinics clean and safe. The role involves disinfecting, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and general sanitization across locations including Independence and Blair Clinics.

Wage starts at $16.50/hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 3pm–11pm and weekends. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and prefer 1 year of healthcare environment services experience, though it is not

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; 1 year of Healthcare Environment Services experience preferred.
• Experience in cleaning hospital/healthcare facilities is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe surfaces and furnishings.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the Whitehall Hospital and affiliated clinics.
• Support housekeeping tasks across multiple locations as needed.
