Job summary

Exemplar Global seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager for an on-site role in a heavy manufacturing setting. The position focuses on building a strong safety culture, ensuring environmental compliance, and aligning site operations with corporate EHS standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EHS within heavy manufacturing, with expertise in OSHA/ environmental regulations, incident investigations, and staff leadership. Advanced certifications (CSP/CIH) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, or related scientific field required; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience within heavy manufacturing, including large workforce environments.
• Demonstrated success leading safety culture transformation and regulatory compliance programs.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations (air, water, hazardous materials).
• Effective leader with excellent communication, influencing, and team development skills; certifications (CSP, CIH, etc.) preferred.
