The role reports to the EHS Director and focuses on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and a culture where safety is a core value.

A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of manufacturing EHS experience are required. Salary target is $130k with 5%+ bonus; there is potential for growth with expanded environmental

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager or EHS Manager to lead and oversee all environmental, health, and safety initiatives at a 300 person manufacturing facility.

Salary target is $130k and 5%+ bonus for 3-5 years experience. Salary and bonus could be increased for more experience and with the Environmental knowledge.

This individual will serve as the site's subject matter expert for health and safety, reporting to the EHS Director and partnering closely with operations, leadership, and employees to ensure regulatory compliance, minimize risk, and foster a culture where safety is a core value.

If you have the Environmental experience this can grow into a higher level role.

The Health & Safety Manager will champion continuous improvement initiatives, lead compliance programs, and drive employee engagement in creating a safe and healthy workplace.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or Health & Safety roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Experience leading safety audits, compliance initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective action programs.
• Demonstrated experience influencing and coaching leaders and frontline employees on safety best practices.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to effectively engage employees in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation.
• Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring programs, including airborne fiber or similar exposure monitoring.
