MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, lead, and drive initiatives to assess and minimize workplace risks.
- Collaborate with Supervisors, Managers, and employees to integrate EHS into daily work activities.
- Develop and deliver training and tools on relevant internal EHS initiatives and regulatory requirements.
- Advise plant supervision in identifying and correcting workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with AGG and regulatory standards.
- Train managers, supervisors, and employees on incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Lead EHS management system and compliance audits to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Continuously improve safety and environmental programs, maintain industrial hygiene practices, and update policies through inspections, investigations, and training.
- Maintain records of health and safety inspections and correspondence.
Required Experience
- Provide leadership aligned with plant business goals as part of the Leadership Team.
- Manage plant environmental, health, and safety compliance and systems, maintaining communication with Corporate EHS.
- Lead ISO 14001 processes and enhance environmental management systems to promote sustainability, recycling, and pollution prevention.
- Provide EHS leadership to all plant employees.
- Hold plant leadership accountable for EHS performance in a tactful manner.
