About the Job:
Position responsible for developing, organizing, and administering a comprehensive safety and health program in compliance with federal and state occupational safety and health regulations. Duties include implementing and coordinating safety and health initiatives involving all levels of supervision, employees, and subcontractors, communicating safety policies, providing training, and tracking training requirements in accordance with record-keeping regulations.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupation Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Or equivalent combination of experience and training
- OSHA 500 Certification or Certified Safety Professional preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, driving, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, poor lighting, workspace restrictions, and noises
- Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
