Job summary

HS2 Ltd is seeking an Environment Secretary/Analyst in Birmingham to support the Head of Environment Route-wide. You will manage secretarial duties, prepare management information and dashboards, and develop environmental reporting material for business reviews.

The role emphasizes strong communication, project leadership, and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within HS2's complex infrastructure programme. Eligible applicants must have Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify complex problems and evaluate options with support (≤140 chars).
• Ability to gather and synthesize information to support decisions (≤140 chars).
• Familiarity with environmental technical domains and reporting tools (≤140 chars).
• Excellent written and verbal communication suitable for senior stakeholders (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial support to the Head of Environment Route-wide at senior meetings.
• Prepare management information and environmental dashboards for reporting.
• Create presentation materials and environmental reports for internal and external meetings.
• Lead on environmental projects as directed to support Delivery Units.
• Promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all work activities.
