Job summary

Mace Construct is seeking a Sustainability Lead for the Curzon Street project in Birmingham. You will provide strategic leadership for environmental management, sustainability compliance, and performance reporting across the project and drive EMS/EMR compliance with the MDJV and HS2 requirements.

You will lead a team of environmental specialists and collaborate with planning, design, delivery and commercial teams to deliver carbon targets and BREEAM certification while engaging supply chain

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of environmental management and legal requirements.
• ISO 14001:2015 compliant EMS knowledge.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production, maintenance and compliance of Environmental Management Plans and EMS/EMR.
• Ensure HS2 environmental requirements and planning conditions are met.
• Lead environmental incident investigations and close-out corrective actions.
