Job summary

OnlyHire.Me is seeking an Environmental or Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Seattle team. You will support sediment remediation, habitat restoration, and upland remediation projects across the Pacific Northwest, collaborating with project teams, teaming partners, and contractors.

The right candidate has 4+ years in environmental or civil engineering, a Bachelor's or Master's in civil/environmental engineering, and EIT with the goal of obtaining a WA PE license within two years.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in environmental or civil engineering in related field.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil, environmental engineering or related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification with ability to obtain WA State PE within two years.
• Ability to acquire and maintain certifications/licenses such as HAZWOPER, CPR, and TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Preparing remedial investigation and feasibility study reports.
• Remedial design for sediment and/or upland projects.
• Field work including sampling soil, sediment, and groundwater.
• Creating plans/drawings or performing volume calculations using CAD and Civil3D.
• Working within WA State environmental regulatory frameworks.
• Preparing or reviewing plans, specifications and bid packages for remediation projects.
• Providing construction oversight on environmental remediation projects.
• Coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.
