OnlyHire.Me is seeking a Senior Environmental or Civil Engineer (PE) to lead high-profile shoreline and aquatic sediment remediation, habitat restoration, and upland remediation projects across the Pacific Northwest. You will manage multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with partners and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years' experience, a degree in civil/environmental/geotechnical engineering, a PE license with reciprocity for WA and OR, and the ability to obtain required

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental or civil engineering in related fields.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering.
• PE license with reciprocity ability for WA and OR.
• Certifications such as HAZWOPER, CPR, TWIC as needed.
• Valid driver’s license.

We are looking to add a Senior Environmental or Civil Engineer to our collaborative team. We’re looking for someone who exemplifies our commitment to technical excellence, environmental responsibility, and customer service. The primary role will be to accomplish high-profile shoreline and aquatic sediment remediation, habitat restoration, and upland remediation projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. You’ll be responsible for managing and overseeing project teams, often representing multiple disciplines within the company, and teaming partners and contractors outside the company.

Here’s our list of must-haves:

• 10+ years of experience working as an environmental or civil engineer in environmental consulting, environmental construction, or a similar field
• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering
• Adept at preparing and reviewing engineering plans and specifications with particular focus on constructability and implementability
• Professional Engineering license in any state, with the ability to file for reciprocity for licensure in both Washington and Oregon
• Ability to acquire and maintain any certifications required for completion of job tasks, such as HAZWOPER, CPR, and/or TWIC
• Valid driver’s license

Pay and Benefits

• This is a full-time, permanent position.
• Candidates with 10 – 15 years of experience earn $110K - $128K annually.

• We also offer 11 paid holidays and 20 days of paid time off per year.
• We provide employees with a flexible work schedule that includes core hours 9 AM to 4 PM Monday to Friday.
• Most staff are expected to work onsite 2 – 3 days per week, depending on their distance from our office.
• Project work may require you to work more than your standard billable work week, but we provide extra time off to recognize this effort.
• Regional travel is a small part of this role. You won’t typically go more than 3 hours away, and we’ll cover your expenses.

The Details

• 5 - 10years of experience in remedial design and execution, ideally in shoreline and sediment remediation projects, but upland remediation experience is also relevant
• 3+ years of professional experience creating plans/drawings or performing volume calculations using CADD and Civil3D
• Professional field work experience, specifically with contaminated soil, sediment, and groundwater
• Experience working within the Washington State environmental regulatory frameworks; experience working within the Oregon State environmental regulatory framework is a plus
• Experience with construction oversight on environmental remediation projects
• Experience working with regulatory agencies or clients
