Job summary
Textron Systems in Hunt Valley seeks an entry-level Systems Engineer I to support robotics and unmanned systems across the product life cycle, including requirements, integration, testing and fielding under mentorship. You will develop foundational skills in systems engineering and collaborate with senior engineers on real programs.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's in systems engineering (or related) and 0-2 years of experience; travel up to 10-15% and a strong team mindset are expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or related field.
- 0-2 years of related engineering experience (internships or co-ops welcome).
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret Clearance eligibility required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in systems engineering tasks across the product lifecycle under mentorship.
- Support requirements analysis by reviewing customer needs and maintaining documentation.
- Develop conceptual designs with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in systems integration and testing for UGVs/UAVs.
- Prepare engineering documentation for reviews.
