Job summary

Ridge Mechanical, Inc. is a growing commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor serving the North Carolina Triad since 1955.

We are seeking motivated individuals who want to develop their HVAC technical skills while working alongside experienced HVAC professionals. You will assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC equipment, perform preventive maintenance, assist with startups and testing, and maintain accurate service reports in a safety-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Technical school or HVAC coursework preferred.
• 0-2 years of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks including filter changes, belt replacements, and coil cleaning.
• Assist with equipment startups and system testing.
• Maintain accurate service reports and work documentation.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Participate in manufacturer and company-sponsored training programs.
