Amentum Advanced Solutions in Tennessee seeks an entry-level Mechanical Engineer with a B.S.M.E. to join a multi-discipline team working on complex R&D facilities. You will contribute to design, analysis, CAD drawing production, and collaboration with aero, structural, and electrical engineers.

Ideal candidates have coursework in dynamics, FEA, fluids, heat transfer, and 3D CAD; internships or co-ops preferred. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BSME from an accredited engineering school.
• Strong technical skills with coursework in statics, dynamics, materials, FEA, and thermodynamics.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and cooperate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and assist in preparing presentations and technical reports.
• Produce detailed CAD drawings and support interface with other disciplines.
• Analyze results using prescribed methods and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Support field visits and site work as needed.
