Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical background, gearing-related.
• 1–2 years wind energy or related industry (preferred).
• Experience with power plant operations, wind turbines, and HV switching is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and related equipment.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and implement safe procedures.
• Identify safety risks and mitigate them with recommendations to supervisors.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures and adhere to controls.
• Coordinate with EDPR’s Remote Operations Control Center as needed.
