Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an entry-level welder for the AGILITY Fabrication Division in Huntsville, AL. You will contribute to build-to-print and prototype weldments for various programs, while gaining hands-on experience under senior welders.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, basic welding skills in SMAW/FCAW/GMAW, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to travel and work shifts as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated welding experience with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform build-to-print and prototype weldments across programs.
• Assist with repairs, upgrades, and fabrication of weldments of varying size and materials.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure designers receive the required weldments.
• Learn and develop welding trade under supervision of senior welders.
