Job summary

RPM & Associates, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Welder I for our Production department. Training will be provided to operate automated welding equipment and perform field welding as needed.

The role requires following detailed written and verbal directions, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Qualifications

• Entry-level welding position with training provided.
• No welding certifications required.
• Must read and interpret and follow verbal directions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Weld components per company drawings, customer specifications and welding documents.
• Operate automated welding equipment and air arc systems; training provided.
• Learn welding processes and perform field welding at customer sites as needed.
• Maintain and service equipment; report issues promptly to supervision.
• Assist in developing written process documentation and keep work areas safe and organized.
• Suggest tooling, fixturing and process improvements based on requirements.
