Aerotek in Orlando, FL is seeking entry CNC Laser Operators for an Oviedo metals company. No prior CNC laser experience required; candidate will receive on‑the‑job training and grow with the team. Two shifts are available: 1st shift 7:30am–4pm at $17.50/hr with a $2.00/hr raise after 90 days, and 2nd shift 1:30pm–10:00pm at $19.00/hr with the same raise.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome and will be trained.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, machine operation, or metal-handling experience is preferred but not required.
• CNC laser, plasma table, burn table, saw, press brake, or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Forklift or overhead-crane experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow written work instructions.
• Basic computer and keyboard skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good attendance and dependable transportation.
• Ability to handle steel and other heavy materials safely.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC laser-cutting equipment.
• Load and unload steel plates and other metal materials.
• Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Review work orders, cut lists, and production instructions.
• Measure materials and finished parts for accuracy.
• Sort, label, stage, and prepare completed orders for shipment.
• Perform basic machine inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and quality goals.

Available Shifts and Pay

1st Shift

• Monday through Friday

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $39520.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.

-90% medical paid and employee pays 10%-Dental $1,500/yr and all annual is 100% covered-9 paid holidays-+2/hr. for perfect attendance every two weeks
