Job summary

Apache Mills, Inc. in Calhoun, GA is seeking an entry level Waterjet Machine Operator to join our operations team on a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

This full-time role offers on-site work and a starting wage of $16.00 per hour with potential to reach $20.00 per hour as you are fully trained. You will trim, lift, and stack rubber mats, follow safety procedures, and participate in preventive maintenance while working in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience performing light maintenance on equipment
• Maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• Complying with company processes and procedures
• Following verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour schedules including every other weekend and all applicable holidays on your rotation schedule and OT as required
• Demonstrated attitude of safety and quality as top priorities

Responsibilities

• Trim, lift, and stack rubber mats
• Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks
• Assist with machine preventive maintenance and material changes
• Work within a team setting and be cross trained to perform all essential job duties within the team
• Meet or exceed all performance and productivity standards including working safely, maintaining acceptable quality levels and achieving desired standard output levels
• Perform other assignments as requested or as business needs required
