Job summary

H2O Innovation in Thompsonville, NY seeks a Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator in Training (OIT). You will participate in daily operations, conduct routine tests, enter data, and perform basic maintenance while upholding safety and integrity.

Full-time in a 24-hour environment with a 7pm–7am schedule (Wed–Fri and every other Saturday) and rotating on-call. On-site role with opportunities for career growth and certification attainment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain water/wastewater certifications as part of career development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine water and wastewater tests and collect regulatory samples.
• Enter test results and readings into logbooks and data systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and assist with on-site training.
