Job summary

H 2 O Innovation is seeking a full-time Water Treatment Operator to oversee drinking water treatment facilities. You will conduct routine tests, collect samples, and make data-driven decisions while maintaining logs and safety standards.

The role requires Connecticut certification, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work weekends and on-call shifts. A company vehicle is provided for travel between sites in Weston, CT and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Class I Water Treatment Operator Certification (or higher) required; wastewater cert preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid state driver’s license and responsible driving history.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine water and wastewater tests, collect regulatory samples, and log results with accuracy.
• Enter test results into logbook and data management system, reporting abnormalities promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report needed repairs (pumps, valves, motors, etc.).
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment under supervision.
• Maintain supplies and assist teammates; ensure clean, safe facility operations.
• Respond to on-call emergencies within a 30-minute window when scheduled.
