Job summary

Ada, OK-based Water and Wastewater Construction Technician I (Full Time) is needed to support OEH Construction Unit 2 at the Office of Environmental Health. Tasks include installing water well pumps, concrete work, wiring, wastewater systems, and general labor to support field projects.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and willingness to train. No prior experience required; must pass background check and pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• High School, GED or Equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Proficiency with basic computer software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installs water well pumps and pumps and well wiring below ground.
• Mixes and pours concrete; performs light construction tasks.
• Installs on-site wastewater treatment systems and related infrastructure.
• Loads/unloads materials (pipes, sand/gravel, lumber) for on-site work.
• Maintains inventory and ensures a clean, safe work area.
• Adheres to safety policies and dress code; passes pre-employment drug test.
