Job summary

Chickasaw Nation is seeking a Water and Wastewater Construction Technician I for the OEH Construction Unit 2 in Ada, OK. This full-time, on-site role supports installation of sanitation facilities and related infrastructure under the Office of Environmental Health.

The position emphasizes general labor tasks, site maintenance, safety, and collaboration with team members to deliver projects efficiently. Requires a high school diploma or GED and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School, GED or equivalent required.
• Experience with basic computer tasks and Microsoft Office is expected.
• Must be able to operate basic construction equipment as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Installs water well pumps.
• Mixes and pours concrete and performs light construction.
• Install pumps and well wiring below ground.
• Installs on-site wastewater treatment systems.
• Performs dirt work using hand tools and powered equipment.
• Loads and unloads materials needed on site such as pipe, sand/gravel and lumber.
