Job summary

Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Engineer to join the Water Resources team in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska. You will lead drainage and floodplain design for transportation projects while managing a small group of engineers and designers and supporting career growth.

You will also drive marketing and business development, coordinate with leadership, and contribute to project execution through mentorship and technical oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Water Resources.
• Minimum 10 years of drainage design and water resources experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS/SRH-2D.
• Project management and marketing/business development experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage and floodplain design for transportation projects.
• Manage a small group of engineers and designers, providing mentorship.
• Support business development and marketing for water resources projects.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination.
• Perform/oversee hydraulic analyses and permit documentation.
