Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Water Resources Engineer to join our Remediation team within the Environment line. You will work with engineers and project managers across a broad set of projects in New England, supporting stormwater, water quality, and watershed studies.

The role develops hydrology and hydraulic modelling skills and offers exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and other design tools within a global infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and water resources fundamentals.
• Familiarity with GIS and standard engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, construction, and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure and BMPs.
• Perform field work including environmental sampling and BMP inspections.
• Prepare construction documents and basic technical reports.
• Support hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling.
• Prepare written and graphic reports.
• Develop analytic and design skills under supervision.
• Create drawings and calculations under supervision.
• Analyze data with supervision and use engineering software.
