Job summary

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Boston for an Entry-Level Water Resources Engineer to support the Remediation team in the Environment group. The position is based in Chelmsford, MA, Boston, MA, or New York, NY, with a June 2027 start date anticipated.

The role involves working with a diverse team to deliver remediation consulting across New England, performing fieldwork, preparing reports, and contributing to stormwater design and modeling efforts.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of work.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and must pass AECOM Motor Vehicle screening.
• Ability to travel locally, including occasional extended travel.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, construction, and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure and BMPs.
• Perform field work including environmental sampling and data collection.
• Prepare construction documents and technical reports on stormwater, water quality, and watershed management.
• Support hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling and geospatial analyses.
• Prepare written and graphic reports and develop design drawings under supervision.
• Collect and analyze data and use computer tools to solve engineering problems.
