Job summary

Horsham Water & Sewer Authority is seeking an entry-level wastewater plant operator to assist with day-to-day operations at the Park Creek plant under the Treatment Plant Supervisor. Training will be provided, and duties will expand as knowledge grows, including learning process controls, sampling, and record keeping.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a PA driver’s license. You must be prepared for outdoor work, varying weather, and occasional emergency call-in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
• Willingness to obtain PADEP operator certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, monitoring, maintenance and general upkeep of the Park Creek wastewater treatment plant under supervision.
• Training will be provided with responsibilities increasing as knowledge and skills develop.
• Comply with all Authority and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records.
