Responsibilities include routine operations, monitoring, laboratory tests, safety, record-keeping, and reporting to licensed operators. College coursework in science preferred; 0–2 years experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in biology, chemistry, environmental science, or engineering preferred.
• 0–2 years of mechanical, industrial, environmental, or utility work experience preferred.
• Willingness to perform routine laboratory and field testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations and maintenance tasks at water and wastewater facilities.
• Assist with monitoring treatment processes and startup/shutdown checks.
• Record flows, pressures, and chemical feeds; maintain logs.
• Load and unload chemicals safely; manage inventory.
• Inspect equipment and perform minor adjustments and repairs.
• Respond to alarms and follow safety protocols.
• Complete work orders and documentation in asset management systems.
