Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC in Dolton, IL is hiring for a Wastewater Technician I. This entry-level role performs waste stream sampling, off-loading tanker trucks, QA/QC, bench testing, and treat-code assignments, with expected basic mechanical understanding of liquids management.

Hours are 7:00am–3:30pm. The job supports safety, regulatory compliance, and documentation, with opportunities to learn in a growing environmental services company in Illinois.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Wastewater Technician Certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience or less (entry level) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic chemical analysis such as pH, ammonia, solids, and other waste parameters.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, forklifts, hand trucks and power tools per safety policies.
• Sample tanker trucks and containers.
• Connect hoses and unload tanker trucks.
• Support sludge transfer and dewatering operations and waste stream treat code assignments.
• Submit paperwork for regulatory and safety records.
