Job summary

Staples is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse maintenance team in Town of Montgomery, NY. You will work with hand tools, learn hydraulics and electrical basics, and participate in safety-focused maintenance and basic repairs.

We provide training and opportunities to obtain MHE certifications, with shifts offering differential pay. This full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 100 lb, pass a drug screen, and work additional hours as needed to support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Full-Time associates must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 70–100 lb by hand.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment under supervision.
• Operate hand tools and follow safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
• Enroll in company-provided courses to improve knowledge base.
