Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring for an entry-level Warehouse Maintenance I in California. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment within our distribution center.

This role emphasizes learning the McLane Maintenance Connection database, maintaining parts and equipment, and supporting safety and operational standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.

Responsibilities

• Track spare parts usage, inventory and work orders per policy.
• Assist DC maintenance such as refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, welding, doors, air systems, racking, and painting.
• Manage battery charging cycles and rotation for availability.
• Perform inspections, cleaning, and cable checks; evaluate serviceability.
• Learn McLane Maintenance Connection database and use it.
