Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Alabama is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Maintenance I for the DC Dothan location. This role focuses on preventive maintenance of material handling equipment and facility systems within a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Experience with distribution center industrial equipment incl. forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, carts.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills with MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spare parts usage, inventory and work orders are tracked and documented.
• Assist with DC maintenance: refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking.
• Maximize availability of batteries by managing charging cycles and rotation.
• Perform inspections and cleaning; conduct specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability.
• Develop working knowledge of McLane Maintenance Connection database.
• Other duties may be assigned.
