Job summary
Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a VIP Interior Mechanic III in Washington state. The role leads by example, mentors junior technicians, and ensures all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards for VIP jet interiors.
You will fabricate interior components, read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Engineering to support on-time project completion. Travel and extended hours may be required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of six years recent installation, fabrication, or related experience on VIP aircraft interiors.
- Repairman, Airframe or A&P certification preferred; or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and co-sign for uncertified mechanics per procedures.
- Facilitate on-the-job training and mentoring.
- Assist leads with planning, production, and quality assurance of projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and manuals.
- Fabricate and install VIP interior components from raw materials.
- Troubleshoot and repair cabinetry and interior components.
- Communicate progress and issues to team and leadership.
