Job summary

The Davey Resource Group, Inc. seeks an entry-level UAM Field Technician 1 to plan, inspect, and record utility infrastructure data in field environments. You will learn and apply technical skills under supervision while working as an individual contributor in the field.

Expect to travel extensively (75-100%), operate field technology, and collaborate with project teams to meet client timelines. Safety and data quality are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be willing to learn mapping software applications.
• Read and comprehend instructions and communicate clearly.
• Basic arithmetic computations and data entry skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field audits of utility infrastructure by inspecting and recording data.
• Operate GPS units, hand-held devices, cameras and other field tech.
• Record field observations accurately and clearly.
• Communicate with property owners to arrange access.
• Travel 75–100% for on-site duties and meet production targets.
• Follow safety rules and maintain assigned vehicle/equipment.
