Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a Junior Utilities Operations Supervisor to manage daily field work, supervise technicians, and oversee maintenance of utility networks at an on-site location in Gurabo, PR. The role requires 2–4 years in pharma facilities, utilities, or related operations and a valid driver’s license with entry-level certifications.

You will ensure safety compliance and assist with budgets while communicating with teams in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate or technical degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in pharma works, facility maintenance, or utility operations.
• Valid driver’s license and relevant entry-level state water/wastewater or trade certifications.
• Basic computer literacy, leadership potential, and problem-solving skills for handling equipment failures.
• Intermediate English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations: Direct daily crew assignments, schedule repair work orders, and inspect active job sites.
• Staff Supervision: Train new technicians, track performance, and coordinate shift or work schedules.
• System Maintenance: Monitor the safety and efficiency of utility networks like water distribution or sewage collection.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce local, state, and federal safety rules (EPA, OSHA, CFR, etc.).
• Administrative Support: Help prepare basic operational reports, track material inventory, and assist with departmental budgets.
