Job summary

Citi in Chappaqua, New York is seeking an entry level Universal Banker to assist in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role aims to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

As a branch team member, you will support basic account openings, resolve service issues, process transactions, and participate in seminars and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account openings for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls to ensure safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
