Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to assist in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team.

The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients. The position is part-time and located at Port Jefferson Station, NY, with salary information provided and Citi benefits described.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in retail banking or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in branch sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve complaints.
• Support branch sales/service activities at seminars and campaigns.
• Adhere to controls to ensure safety of assets and compliance.
