Job summary

HOLT Truck Centers is seeking an entry-level Level 1 Technician for our Austin South location. The role focuses on routine maintenance, basic inspections, engine troubleshooting, and performing repairs under supervision.

You will document service reports and assist with parts requisitions while upholding HOLT's safety standards. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or technical training and up to 1 year of experience, with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or accredited skilled trades program.
• Up to one year of experience preferred.
• Safety training and task training required.

Responsibilities

• Models and promotes company values daily.
• Troubleshoots basic engine malfunctions under supervision.
• Performs basic engine repairs with supervision.
• Provides QA inspections and road testing of tasks.
• Uses diagnostic software to assist in diagnosing engines.
