Job summary

HOLT Group in Austin South is seeking an entry-level HTT - Truck Service Technician 1 to perform routine maintenance and basic inspections on heavy-duty commercial vehicles. You will work under supervision, using diagnostic tools and hand tools to diagnose and repair engines and related systems.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with internal/external resources, with up to 5% travel and a focus on developing skills through the Technician Training Path and safety

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; typically 1 year of experience or less.
• Performs basic engine and related equipment repairs with supervision.
• Uses computers and related software to diagnose and document services.
• Requires safety training and task training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses basic engine malfunctions under supervision.
• Performs basic engine and related equipment repairs on trucks and trailers with supervision.
• Completes documentation for service reports, timecards, parts requisition and returns.
• Models and follows HOLT's Values Based Leadership and safety policies.
