Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Trimmer Trainee for our field crew. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay and on-the-job training to trim trees, remove debris, and operate equipment in varying weather conditions.

You will learn safety procedures, operate tools, load trucks, set up barriers, and cooperate with customers and emergency services as needed. High School Diploma preferred; driver's license is a plus. Pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands overhead for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operates and maintains required tools and equipment.
• Cleans up debris and loads/unloads trucks.
• Assists in traffic control and safety setup.
• Performs other related work as assigned.
• Participates in training of new employees.
