AMT is seeking an Entry Level Transportation Engineer to join our Columbus, OH team after graduation in May 2027. You will contribute to roadways, stormwater, and plan development while gaining exposure to municipal and state transportation projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Engineering-in-Training Certification (or ability to obtain in 6–12 months).
• Prior internship or work experience on Municipal or State/US DOT projects is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, Microstation/InRoads or OpenRoads preferred.
• Knowledge of civil engineering design and construction surveying concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of projects including data collection and analysis for reports.
• Develop horizontal/vertical alignments, cross sections, and design support for roadways.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater, ROW, utility relocation drawings, and traffic plans.
