Job summary

AECOM seeks an Entry Level Transportation Engineer (EIT) to join our Wisconsin team, with an anticipated start in Summer 2027. The role involves building analytic and design skills, assisting experienced engineers, and developing drawings and data analyses under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, have FE exam plans or a path to pass within a year, and are familiar with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD Civil 3D exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Must have passed FE exam or plan to pass within one year.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds analytic and design skills.
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes data under supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performs work in accordance with budget and schedule under supervision.
