Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program; ABET preferred.
• Internship or related consulting experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of civil/structural engineering techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative environment; strong problem solving.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic CAD software experience listed above.
• Demonstrated leadership potential; EIT preferred; GPA 3.0+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transmission line design from concept through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for 69–500 kV lines.
• Assist in designing line components: plans, profiles, load diagrams, foundations.
• Apply basic civil/structural engineering concepts within the industry.
• Research and compile project data; assist with studies and reports.
• Update drawings using CAD software and coordinate with senior engineers.
• Assist client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration.
• Perform field inspections, measurements, and calculations as required.
• Support other duties and adhere to policies and standards.
