Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking a Trailer Technician in Tennessee to perform maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment. The role requires attending or recent graduation from a Diesel Equipment Technology program, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical.

You will inspect and repair equipment, determine additional repair needs, and may perform related duties to support Covenant Transport Services. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand, communicate, read, and write the English language.
• Must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Must have physical ability to climb, bend and stoop.
• Must have physical ability to always work while on feet.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level.
• Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary.
• Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.
