Covenant Transport, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Tech I in Chattanooga to perform maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment. You will inspect, diagnose, and complete repairs within your current skill level while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires you to stand for long periods, lift up to 95 lbs, and pass a DOT physical. High school auto/diesel training or an accredited diesel program is preferred, with on‑the‑job development available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand, communicate, read, and write English.
• Must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and 95 lbs. on demand.
• Must be able to stand, bend and stoop, and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within your current skill level.
• Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary.
• Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet Covenant Transport Services’ ongoing needs.
