Job summary

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Traffic Engineer for our Baltimore, MD office. The role offers flexible work hours and the potential for part-time telework, with opportunities to advance on a broad range of transportation projects for local and national clients.

Responsibilities include traffic design and analysis across signals, signing, markings, lighting, ITS, and work zone controls, in a collaborative team environment. Strong communication skills and CADD experience are prized.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related is required or preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis for traffic-related tasks including signals, signing and pavement markings, lighting, work zone traffic control, ITS, and traffic operations analyses.
• Prepare design and cost estimates and meet with clients.
• Assist in proposal development.
