Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks an Entry-Level Trades Assistant to support skilled trades personnel in installing, replacing, and upgrading industrial and shipboard systems. You will travel to shipyards, bases, and sites to assist with tasks and gain hands-on experience.

The role offers travel up to 75% with per diem covered, and provides an opportunity to develop foundational skills in a dynamic naval shipboard modernization program.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a HS Diploma or Trade school or equivalent (GED).
• Must be able to obtain medical clearance to wear a half-face respirator.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance and badge for base access.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and shipboard systems at customer sites.
