Job summary

Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Trade Helper II in Norfolk, VA to support ship repair, modernization, and Alteration Installation Team (AIT) projects for Navy and commercial clients.

The role requires OSHA-10, basic tools proficiency, and the ability to work in shop and on ships, with travel possible. A high school or trade certificate is required and base access may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have OSHA-10 training and card.
• Prior ship or marine vessel experience preferred.
• High school or trade school degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading materials.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely (forklifts and pallet jacks).
• Assist with removal and installation of equipment and cabling, following safety procedures.
