Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required.
• Comfortable and proficient using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and follow detailed instructions.
• Previous experience working with composite materials is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain electronic records.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
• Positive, dependable attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair composite mold tooling
• Work with a variety of composite materials and manufacturing processes
• Use dimensional measurement tools to verify accuracy and quality
• Perform composite material lay-up, vacuum bagging, and material consolidation
• Read and interpret blueprints, templates, process sheets, and other authorized manufacturing documentation
• Develop and use shop aids to support the efficient and accurate fabrication of composite parts
• Perform tooling repairs and modifications as needed
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
