Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, information systems or related technical discipline.
• Foundational knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, networking, or systems administration.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, networking, virtualization, PowerShell or scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical and systems administration support in a federal enterprise environment.
• Assist with administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows-based systems and applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory and related tools.
• Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, network, and application issues.
• Document issues and resolutions in ticketing/ITSM system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff with thorough troubleshooting details.
• Participate in patching, software installation, configuration, vulnerability remediation, and maintenance.
• Support workstation, server, and app configuration activities as assigned.
• Follow security, CM, change management, and operational procedures.
• Develop familiarity with enterprise technologies and scripting.
• Engage in training and grow systems administration skills.
• Collaborate with engineers, admins, cybersecurity staff, and gov customers.
