Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Test Engineer level 1 to join the Test and Evaluation Department in Northridge, CA. The role is 100% on site with travel about 10% and requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

You will perform tests per procedures, support lab operations, and work with facilities, engineering, and Metrology to ensure equipment readiness and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 0 years of experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to obtain an Active government issued Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work with facilities to address lab environment issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to determine bench/equipment needs.
• Coordinate with Metrology to ensure calibration is up to date.
• Perform tests using Acceptance Test Procedures.
• Support team with process improvements.
• Communicate across teammates to move product forward.
